New office in Poland
A major milestone for Vattenfall in Poland: the new office at Grundmanna Office Park in Katowice will serve as the new place of work for almost 500 professionals.
Start
This new space provides a variety of work settings including those for inspiration, collaboration, and smarter ways of working. The modern office and environment reflects our commitment to innovation and employee well-being.
While IT professionals make up the majority of Vattenfall IT Services Poland (VISP) workforce, the company also includes other Staff Functions such as HR, Finance, as well as BA Wind, and Customers & Solutions (C&S).
I collaborate for impact
This office was co-created with input from VISP employees on the types of spaces needed, furniture and the names of meeting rooms. The successful consolidation of the two current offices over multiple floors into a vibrant location on one large floor is a testament to the power of teamwork.
Smart, & Sustainable
The new office features:
Eco-friendly design: 60% of furniture was reused from the old offices;
Sustainability: BREEAM Excellent including energy efficiency; water saving measures etc.;
Different types of workspaces , with quiet areas for focused work;
Many meeting spaces in different sizes for both formal and casual meetings;
Sizeable kitchen area that can be used for large Town Hall meetings.
Spaces where employees can relax and connect with each other.
Delivered with purpose
“The project, called VITA (life in Latin), was led by the principle "I do what I say". Thanks to great teamwork of many colleagues from different departments it was finished on time, and met the highest quality standards. To everyone who contributed to this project—thank you. Your dedication, creativity, and collaboration made this move happen.“ says Mariola Penno-Szypowska, Managing Director of Vattenfall IT Services Poland.
