Senior SAP S/4 HANA PPM Functional Consultant

Fossil freedom in the energy sector needs a consistent project portfolio steering.  
 
As an energy supplier Vattenfall is an asset driven company. Both, the investment in new assets as well as the maintenance of existing assets is reflected in projects and therefore requires proper portfolio management. Therefore projects, project steering and portfolio management play a major role in Vattenfalls daily business. SAP PPM is chosen as the main tool for portfolio steering and will be rolled out for portfolio management starting with two areas of Vattenfall. In the ongoing greenfield implementation of S/4 HANA a common way of working has been decided and will the basis for all future implementations.

Internal support of our SAP systems is crucial for Vattenfall IT and in the light of increased usage of SAP PPM we’re looking for a Senior SAP S/4 HANA PPM Consultant to strengthen our team of SAP experts. 

Your tasks and responsibilities:  

As part of our international team of SAP experts you will join the ongoing S/4 HANA implementation and work together with business departments long term to secure a stable, standard and business driven PPM setup.  Amongst other activities, you will:

• Elicit and discover requirements 
• Specify and document requirements, securing traceability to the source 
• Analyze requirements for adherence to business objectives and consistency and challenge them as appropriate 
• Write functional specifications based on given requirements 
• Implement and coordinate changes together with other departments 
• Troubleshooting   
• Support Business in SAP PPM related questions and incident handling 
• Train and support key users  
• Join the ongoing S/4 HANA implementation

Who are you?  
 
As our Senior SAP S/4 HANA PPM Functional Consultant you will bring at least five years of experience in implementation and maintenance of SAP PPM plus surrounding modules like PS or CO.   
 
Next to this you bring:  

• Willingness to coordinate or steer smaller changes or projects besides pure consultancy or implementation 
• Ability to work locally and remote to support our business accordingly 
• The ability to either work hands-on or conceptual depending on the situation 
• Go at least on step beyond IT to understand business requirements and business processes 
• A proactive and result driven attitude 
• fluent English in writing and speaking
