Senior Kubernetes Engineer

You will join a DevOps team, operating from Stockholm, Amsterdam, Hamburg, Berlin & Katowice, designing, creating, and maintaining container & web solutions. We provide services ranging from Workload, Datacenter & Process Automation, Robotics, Web Solutions, Content management & Vattenfall container services.     

By doing that, we secure a stable and secure environment for our websites being available 24/7 per day, servicing thousands of visitors per day spread over our Europe.

• You will work on our large deployment of Kubernetes, running on several infrastructures both on-premise as in the cloud 
• As a Senior, you will be involved in Architectural work and lead projects 
• We maintain many different kubernetes clusters across cloud and on premise, high security zones, full devops piplelines included. 
• You will be able to use Kubernetes and it’s components to the maximum, and we are still growing (from now 137 applications running to >1000) 
• You will be able to contribute with further automation of our platform 
• You will be stimulated to bring in new technologies and keep up to date 
• You will be able to plan, build and run the container services and it’s infrastructure in our international environment 
• You will be our expert, being able to provide 2nd / 3rd line support on deep technical issues 
• Some of the projects our Senior would be involved in are launching drones for maintenance inspection of our assets (e.g. offshore windfarms) and several AI related projects, as our team plays a frontrunner role in AI adoption throughout IT. 

We are looking for an experienced Kubernetes Engineer, who brings: 

• General IT knowledge (Network; Security; Automation, Virtualized Infra) 
• Experience in working with Azure, Infrastructure or containers 
• On top of Kubernetes, some knowledge of our stack you will be working with: 

Docker; Azure, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS); Docker & other runtimes ; Helm, Ansible; Continues integration continues deployment (Jenkins, Bamboo, Argo, AzurePipelines ) Java, PHP, Spring. Webservers (Tomcat, Weblogic), Databases (MS SQL, MySQL, Casandra, Spark, Hadoop,) OS Linux (Redhat), Windows, Repositories (Git, Artifactory) , Reverse Proxies (Apache, NgrinX, Envoy, IstIO). Integration (MQ, Kafka, Camel, AMQP, RabbitMQ)
