We have an exciting new opportunity for a Portfolio Coordinator who will play a key role in supporting our growing Project Management and Portfolio activities across Digital Engineering. This position offers a dynamic work environment where you can develop your skills and make a tangible impact on our central PMO operations.

In this role, you'll be responsible for a variety of tasks, including coordinating our project order intake, making project schedules transparent, preparing reports, and liaising with key team members to ensure smooth communication and workflow. You'll also assist with resource allocation, monitor project progress, and help identify and resolve any issues that arise.

Your role / what will you do? 

You have a structured & analytical mindset that allows you to make sense of complex information to effectively solve problems. You are actively learning through experimentation when tackling new problems, using both successes and failures as learning. You have an adapting approach and demeanour in real time to match the shifting demands of different situations. 

Furthermore, you can easily build partnerships and work collaboratively with others to meet shared objectives. You relate openly and comfortably with diverse groups of people. You have the ability to anticipate and balance the needs of multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

  • Transparency being key - Monitor project performance, deviations, and risks while supporting mitigation actions.
  • Support monthly financial/project status reporting processes as needed.
  • Assist in resource allocation, workload overview, and capacity coordination across teams.
  • Ensure smooth workflow by addressing operational blockers and escalating issues when necessary
  • Support adherence to internal project management methodologies and office procedures
  • Identify opportunities for workflow/process improvements and efficiency gains
  • Track, analyze, and report on project progress and KPIs using relevant tools.
  • Contribute to internal process and team improvement initiatives within the Portfolio Management team.

Location  
Amsterdam, please expect occasional travel as part of the role in Northern Europe.


Qualifications

Your qualification and experience

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or Engineering
  • Demonstrated ability to engage & communicate well to teams & stakeholders
  • A proactive, agile approach to process improvement and problem-solving.
  • A positive attitude, good communication skills, and a willingness to learn and grow
  • Eager to learn about new technologies & different business domains within renewable energy
  • Ability to thrive & perform in a complex and diverse organizational set-up
  • As we operate in an international environment, it is essential that you speak and write English fluently
