Business Area Wind is responsible for Vattenfall’s Onshore and Offshore Wind, as well as other non-hydro renewable initiatives like PV/Solar and batteries. We currently develop, construct and operate wind generation assets across Sweden, Denmark, Germany, the Netherlands and the UK. In addition, we have a clear strategy to develop our solar PV and battery operations further.

Business Unit Offshore is responsible to manage and operate all Offshore wind parks as well as Offshore wind projects with regards to development, construction and execution within the Region Continental/UK.

The Project Manager will be part of the Regional Support Germany.

In Regional Support we gather the functions of

  • RS Project Management (season campaign preparation)
  • Logistic Leads
  • Project Planning
  • Administrative Support

We are supporting the offshore wind parks in the German Region DanTysk, Sandbank and Nordlicht.

Vattenfall is now looking for the right person to fill the position as Project Manager in Regional Support Germany, responsible for providing standardized site support to our wind farms in the German Region, from the O&M locations in Hamburg & Esbjerg.

The Project Manager is one point of contact on all internal centrally driven project activities coming from support functions e.g., engineering, technical support etc. Towards sites. The project Manager must ensure that they are effectively integrated, delivery is coordinated, and execution is supported on site, focusing on the safe and efficient delivery of offshore operations.

Your responsibilities:

  • Regional project activities, i.e. WTG planned maintenance and minor corrective  activities.
  • Coordinating the scope and package (documentation, tools, spare parts) for full annual service and
  • be gate keeper on execution readiness towards central support functions
  • Responsible to realize portfolio synergies.
  • Project execution and third parties, with special focus on the safe and efficient delivery on offshore operations.
  • On site project management, ensuring that centrally driven projects are effectively integrated on site.
  • Deliver service packages to site coordinating i.e. Planning, spare parts and documentation.
  • Manage key interfaces between site and Central Support functions
  • Manage the site-specific documentation (RAMS etc.) required to accommodate the aforementioned projects on site
  • Collate and review service reports from contractors/third-parties on site.
  • Liaise with contractors/Third parties to ensure that the requested skills/training/competences etc. are understood prior to their arrival on site.

Location: Hamburg (Germany) or Esbjerg (Denmark)


Qualifications

Your profile:

  • A degree in engineering (marine, electrical, mechanical etc.) or experienced wind turbine technician or other technical education 
  • Strong drive and business mind set
  • Project Management skills
  • Operation & Maintenance knowledge from a related field
  • Relevant work experience
  • Experience from the wind business or other power generation
  • SAP & MS Office
  • Good communication, cooperation and organisational skills
  • Fluent in English, written and spoken
