Vattenfall BA Wind Offshore is looking for a

Working student in the field of strategic & change communications to support the Offshore Wind Business Unit.

"Strategic Projects" is a strategy team within the CFO function that supports the Offshore Wind Business Unit (BU) in setting the strategic agenda and driving business improvement. Like the offshore wind industry, BU Offshore is in a state of continuous change which requires strategic communications to keep employees informed on the topics relevant to them. Your role will be to support the execution of several key communication initiatives, ensuring high quality and timeliness.

With us, you will work in an international setting, develop and grow professionally, and help contribute to the renewable energy transition. On your journey you will be supported by a diverse group of peers who have a background in strategy consulting and communications & change management. A senior advisor within the team will give you necessary guidance and regular feedback.

Your tasks

  • Co-manage our monthly Offshore newsletter, including collecting relevant stories from across the department, reviewing and finalizing stories, drafting the CEO statement, and maintaining the newsletter SharePoint pages
  • Support Change Communications Advisor with the execution of tasks, logistics, and presentation creation for employee events including town halls and in-person manager meetings
  • Create and manage various ad hoc communications for our management team, such as video shooting & editing, basic graphic design, social media posts (Viva Engage)
  • Consistently measure success metrics and help with feedback surveys for continuous improvement
  • Collaborate with core team, agencies, and other internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • You are creative and passionate about the craft of communications and enjoys keeping up to date with the latest trends & best practices.
  • You are a solution-oriented person who shares our passion for building a sustainable society and energy landscape.
  • You have an interest and experience in media, video editing, and supporting various projects, and can hit the ground running.
  • You are an enrolled student in the field of business, marketing, communications, change management, or a comparable field.
  • You are confident in using Microsoft Office 365, especially SharePoint and PowerPoint, and design and video editing tools.  
  • A confident communicator and very strong writer, who can create stories and content for a variety of communication mediums
  • English proficiency (at least C1)

  • Start date: 01.04.2026
  • Working hours: 20 hours/week during university term, up to 40 hours/week during term breaks
