Within our Digital Engineering division in Project Delivery & Engineering, we deliver and integrate digital solutions that support renewable energy production and ensure reliable operations. As the primary provider of digital solutions for Business Unit Offshore Wind, and of Business Unit Onshore and Solar and Batteries, we manage the entire value chain—from bid acquisition to asset construction and operation—focusing on Operational Technology (OT) and IT. Cybersecurity and compliance are critical pillars in this mission.

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Information Domain Specialist/Information Domain Architect to lead the design and governance of information architecture across operational systems and processes. This role is critical in ensuring that asset information is structured, integrated, and utilized effectively for both operational and maintenance purposes. You will work closely with business and technology teams to align data models, standards, and processes that support SCADA systems, operational dashboards, and enterprise maintenance platforms such as SAP, while also shaping the future of data platforms and architecture.

Your Responsibilities

As an Information Domain Architect, you will:

  • Define and maintain the information architecture strategy for operational and maintenance systems.
  • Integrate industry standards such as IEC CIM, RDS-PS/PP/ IEC 61850/61400 and others into data models and processes.
  • Organize and structure asset information to enable efficient operations, monitoring, and maintenance.
  • Participate in standardization committees (e.g., IEC, ISO) and initiatives, contributing to the definition and extension of domain information models to capture engineering, business, and process needs.
  • Map concept from different domain models to each other to improve traceability, consistency, and interoperability across systems.
  • Ensure interoperability and consistency of data across SCADA systems, operational dashboards, and enterprise platforms like SAP.
  • Design and govern data platforms and architecture to support operational analytics, reporting, and integration with IT systems.
  • Develop and maintain a roadmap for information architecture and data platforms, incorporating emerging standards and digitalisation initiatives.
  • Drive improvements in data quality and integration to enable better data-driven decision-making across operations and maintenance.
  • Collaborate with OT and IT architects to align information flows between operational technology and business systems.
  • Enable advanced analytics, predictive maintenance, and digital twin capabilities through well-structured data integration.

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you should:

  • Have experience in information architecture within operational environments (generation operations, maintenance processes etc), ideally in the energy or industrial sector with relevant engineering background.
  • Demonstrate expertise in applying standards such as IEC CIM, RDS-PS, and RDS-PP to asset and operational data models.
  • Understand operational systems and processes, including SCADA, automation platforms, and maintenance systems like SAP PM /MM.
  • Experience in designing and implementing data platforms (e.g., data lakes, data warehouses) and integration architectures for OT/IT convergence.
  • Be familiar with data modelling, master data management, asset inventory, and integration patterns.
  • Experience in defining and extending domain information models and working with interoperability frameworks.
  • Familiarity with semantic web technologies and ontology modelling, including OWL, RDF, and RDFS.
  • knowledge of architecture frameworks and governance practices (e.g., TOGAF, ISA-95) is an advantage
  • Be comfortable leading cross-functional teams and managing stakeholder expectations across business and technical domains.

Nice to have:

  • Experience with cloud-based data platforms (Azure Data Services) and streaming technologies for real-time operational data.
  • Familiarity with digital twin concepts and asset performance management solutions.
