Are you ready to empower agile teams and drive innovation in the energy sector? As a Scrum Master in our Asset Analytics Wind team, you’ll play a key role in enabling Vattenfall’s wind operations across Europe. You’ll work in a highly collaborative, agile IT environment with a strong focus on innovation and data-driven decision-making—helping us move closer to our goal to reduce fossils. 

What will you do? 

You’ll be part of our Asset IT department, supporting the development and maintenance of analytics solutions for our wind operations. Your work will directly contribute to smarter, more efficient wind operations across Europe. 

Your tasks and responsibilities include: 

  • Cooperating closely with business stakeholders to align team goals with strategic objectives 
  • Support the team resolving impediments and streamlining the team’s workflow 
  • Supporting the Product Owner in managing and refining the Product Backlog 
  • Educating business stakeholders on the value of Scrum in their daily work 
  • Coaching team members and the wider organisation on Scrum principles and the empirical process and applying them in real-life scenarios 
  • You help the team, Product Owner and organisation create transparancy and an environment where teams can learn and grow

Qualifications 

You’re enthusiastic about Agile working and bring a strong foundation in Scrum and project delivery. You’re curious, communicative, and thrive in a collaborative DevOps culture. 

You bring: 

  • A Bachelor Degree and experience in the role of Scrum Master in an IT environment 
  • The ability to quickly learn and understand the Wind Industry 
  • A willingness to work in teams with a strong DevOps culture 
  • You enjoy facilitating teams in solving complex problems 
  • Ability to identify underlying issues and initiate conversations to solve them 
  • Experience working with multiple teams simultaneously 
  • Great command of English (written and spoken, C1 level) 

Extra points if you have: 

  • Experience in product development 
  • Experience in Design Thinking 
  • Experience working in an agile environment within a large company 
  • Experience in a Scrum Scaled environment

Our offer: 

The salary for this position is €4,600 to €6,000 gross per month, excluding holiday allowance, based on a 38-hour workweek. In addition to your salary, we offer an attractive secondary benefits package, with the main components being: 

  • Based on your annual salary, you will receive 8% holiday allowance, a year-end bonus of 4.5%, and a profit-sharing bonus of up to 3.5% of your annual salary, depending on Vattenfall Netherlands’ results (RDR); 
  • NS Business Card for commuting or a travel allowance of €0.23 per km (max. 50 km one way) and a home office allowance of €3.05 per day; 
  • 20 vacation days, 5 additional statutory vacation days (part of “My Choice My Budget”); 
  • 2 extra statutory days (part of “My Choice My Budget”); 
  • 3.5 vitality days and 13 ADV days (for a 38-hour contract with a 40-hour workweek); 
  • “My Choice My Budget”: buy or sell extra vacation days, purchase a bicycle, or have your budget paid out monthly; 
  • Pension with ABP: Vattenfall contributes 70%, you contribute 30%; 
  • Health insurance group discount with Zilveren Kruis Achmea; 
  • 4 hours of leave for volunteer work through the Vattenfall Foundation; 
  • Training budget for personal development.
