Do you enjoy making organisations better prepared for the unexpected?
Join us and help turn resilience into everyday practice.

We are now looking for a Resilience Officer to strengthen our resilience capability within the BA Wind Security & Resilience department. In this role, you will help ensure that our onshore and offshore wind, solar and battery operations can prepare for, respond to and recover from disruptive events — supporting Vattenfall’s mission of fossil‑free living through resilient and secure operations.

You will work across BA Wind, collaborating with a wide range of stakeholders to embed resilience thinking into daily operations and long‑term planning.

The Team

You will join the Security & Resilience Department within BA Wind — a second‑line function providing governance, direction and expert support across:

  • Information & Cybersecurity
  • Physical & Personnel Security
  • Resilience

Be in your element with BA Wind

As part of BA Wind you will play a key role in one of the most exciting pipelines in the industry with 24GW of capacity stretching out more than a decade ahead across our key European markets.

You won’t only be involved in developing projects but pioneering cutting-edge innovation, new business models and ways of working with communities and the environment. Working as part of a leading European utility also means you could be helping a growing number of major businesses and brands achieve their own sustainability goals through partnerships.

Qualifications

Your role / what will you do?

As a Resilience Officer, you will play a key role in helping the organisation prepare for, respond to and learn from disruptive events. You will contribute to the design, implementation and continuous improvement of resilience practices across BA Wind, including business continuity, incident management and risk management.

Working closely with business units and security functions, you will help translate resilience frameworks and requirements into practical, effective ways of working. Your focus will evolve depending on experience and development goals, ranging from hands‑on coordination and delivery to analytical, advisory and improvement‑driven responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contributing to the development and maintenance of BA Wind’s resilience capability in line with Vattenfall group standards, regulations and legal requirements
  • Supporting continuous improvement of business continuity management, including collaboration with the business on recovery priorities for critical processes and dependencies
  • Strengthening incident management preparedness through rollout, training and exercising of incident management plans, lessons learned and follow‑up actions
  • Supporting security and resilience‑related risk assessments across the business
  • Contributing to disaster recovery preparedness through coordination, advisory input and stakeholder follow‑up
  • Facilitating lessons learned and corrective actions in close collaboration with the Resilience Area Lead and business stakeholders
  • Advising stakeholders on resilience‑related topics
  • Supporting compliance with internal requirements and relevant regulations
  • Contributing to reporting, coordination and structured ways of working within the Security & Resilience function
  • Collaborating with the Resilience Area Lead to develop the Resilience Area to meet future business needs

Your profile / who are you?

You are motivated by preparedness, learning and continuous improvement, and you thrive in complex environments where many stakeholders and perspectives intersect. You are curious, structured and solution‑oriented, with the ability to turn complex resilience topics into practical outcomes. You collaborate naturally across functions and cultures, and you bring a positive mindset to challenging situations.

You do not need to meet every requirement to apply — we value motivation, learning ability and diverse backgrounds.

Additionally, you may have:

  • Experience or strong interest in resilience, with exposure to areas such as business continuity, incident management, emergency management or risk management
  • Background from critical infrastructure, energy, public sector, consultancy, operations, security, IT or risk functions
  • Familiarity with resilience and continuity standards such as ISO 22301, BCI or similar frameworks
  • Understanding of or exposure to operational areas within BA Wind (onshore/offshore wind, solar & batteries)
  • Ability to contribute to complex problem‑solving in multi‑stakeholder environments
  • Excellent professional proficiency in English, both written and spoken

We look forward to receiving your application!
