If so, join our Customer Metering & Settlement Solutions department as a functional Application Consultant and contribute to Vattenfall’s business goals. 

Customer Metering & Settlement Solutions is part of Customer IT, which develops and operates specialized IT solutions based on SAP IS-U and SAP CRM. These systems support all Nordic business units within Vattenfall that have customer relations. 

Your Role  

As a Functional Application Consultant, you will play a key role in ensuring that stable and reliable solutions are designed, developed, implemented, and maintained. You will contribute actively to quality assurance processes to make sure that the solutions meet business requirements.  

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Initiate and maintain continuous dialogue with business stakeholders.  
  • Monitor system activities on a daily basis. 
  • Handle and resolve incidents. 
  • Create functional and technical designs for error corrections, minor enhancements, and projects.  
  • Ensure implemented changes fulfill business needs and comply with regulatory requirements and internal policies. 
  • Coordinate changes and collaborate with other departments.  

Qualifications

We are seeking a team member who is technically skilled and has strong interpersonal qualities. You are a clear communicator with a creative and analytical mindset, capable of understanding complex challenges and proposing effective solutions. You are fluent in English, both spoken and written, and have a genuine desire to continuously learn and grow. You enjoy sharing your knowledge and proactively supporting colleagues, contributing to a collaborative and forward-thinking team culture. 

Required Competencies  

To succeed in this role, you should have solid experience and knowledge in the following areas: 

  • SAP IS-U: Deep understanding and hands-on experience.  
  • Service Notification/Order processes.  
  • EDM (Energy Data Management). 
  • Device Management.  
  • Market Communication using EDIEL and IDoc processes.  
  • Web Services.  
  • Familiarity with IT methodologies such as Waterfall, Agile, and ITIL.  

Nice-to-Have Skills  

The following skills and experiences are considered advantageous: 

  • Functional knowledge of SAP IS-U modules such as Billing, Invoicing, and Workflow. 
  • Experience with other SAP modules like SD, CRM, and ILM.  
  • Technical skills including ABAP development and debugging. 
  • Understanding of the Swedish Utility Market and its regulatory environment.
