located in Berlin.

Vattenfall is now looking for the right person to fill the position as working student to support Business Controlling for Business Unit Solar & Batteries in BA Wind.  
  
Business Area Wind is responsible for Vattenfall’s Onshore and Offshore Wind as well as other non-hydro Renewable activities like Solar and Batteries. Today we develop, construct and operate wind generation in Sweden, Denmark, Germany, the Netherlands and the UK. In addition, we - have a clear strategy to develop our Solar and Batteries operations further. 

Project Objective: 
Conduct comprehensive research on the risks of battery storage systems, focusing on risk assessment, opportunity management in revenue streams, and energy market dynamics to support strategic decision-making processes. 

As working student in the Controlling Risk Management you will have the following key tasks:

• Risk Assessment: Research technological risks and their impact on asset performance.
• Deliverables: Develop data-driven analysis and visualizations, and create comprehensive research reports with actionable insights.
• Revenue Stream Analysis: Analyze pricing strategies and revenue optimization opportunities.
• Market Research & Analysis: Develop comprehensive revenue models for battery storage systems.

What we are looking for

• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. 
• Understanding of energy markets, including DNO & TSO and Energy Market.
• Experience with data analysis and visualization (PowerBI).
• Knowledge of battery storage technologies.
• C1 Level of German and English skill are required.

We seek a student who wants to work and support us in a highly agile working environment. You will report to the team lead of Controlling for BU Solar & Batteries. 

• Start of service: as soon as possible
• Working time: max. 20 hours/week (37 hours/week during the semester break)
• For an initial period of 12 months
