Business Area (BA) Wind is responsible for Vattenfall’s Onshore and Offshore Wind as well as other non-hydro renewable activities. Today we develop, construct and operate wind generation in UK, Sweden, Denmark, Germany and the Netherlands.

Can you influence resilience, enable preparedness and help shape the future of BA Wind?

As part of BA Wind, you will play a key role in one of the most exciting renewable pipelines in Europe, with 24GW of capacity stretching more than a decade ahead across our key markets.

We are looking for an experienced and inspiring Resilience Area Lead.

In this role, you will lead the continued development of resilience capabilities across Business Area Wind, helping ensure that our wind, solar and battery operations remain resilient and capable of delivering critical business outcomes during disruption.

You will serve as BA Wind's designated Business Continuity Officer (BCO) in relevant Vattenfall Group forums and act as the functional lead for resilience across the business.

Working across countries, functions and organizational levels, you will provide governance, oversight, challenge and expert guidance that enables the business to strengthen operational resilience, improve preparedness, recovery capability and organizational learning.

You will join the Security & Resilience Department within BA Wind — a second-line function providing governance, direction, oversight, challenge and expert support across:

  • Information & Cyber Security
  • Physical & Personnel Security

Your responsibilities:

Lead the Resilience Area

  • Define and drive BA Wind's resilience strategy, roadmap and priorities aligned with Vattenfall Group objectives.
  • Lead the development of resilience capabilities that strengthen operational resilience across BA Wind.
  • Act as BA Wind's focal point for resilience-related matters and group-level engagement.
  • Ensure resilience frameworks, governance and activities support business objectives, regulatory requirements and long-term resilience goals.

Business Continuity & Preparedness

  • Own and continuously develop BA Wind's business continuity and resilience framework.
  • Support the business in identifying critical processes, dependencies and recovery priorities.
  • Assess the effectiveness of continuity capabilities, testing activities and improvement measures.
  • Facilitate resilience assessments, exercises and reviews to identify gaps, vulnerabilities and opportunities for improvement.

Incident & Crisis Management

  • Drive continual improvement of incident and crisis management capabilities.
  • Lead resilience exercises and simulations to validate preparedness and organizational readiness.
  • Identify recurring incident themes, systemic weaknesses and emerging resilience risks.
  • Challenge and support the business in implementing sustainable corrective actions and lessons learned.

Risk, Governance & Assurance

  • Provide oversight of security & resilience-related risks, capabilities and improvement activities across BA Wind.
  • Monitor resilience maturity, emerging risks, trends and key indicators to identify areas requiring management attention.
  • Provide independent insight, challenge and recommendations to leadership and governance forums.
  • Monitor alignment with internal requirements, relevant regulations and resilience standards.

Stakeholder Engagement & Business Enablement

  • Build trusted relationships across BA Wind and act as a trusted advisor on resilience and continuity matters.
  • Facilitate collaboration, accountability and capability development that enables leaders and teams to strengthen operational resilience and manage disruptions effectively.

Location: Kolding or Copenhagen, Denmark – Amsterdam, Netherlands – Stockholm, Sweden – London, UK.
