Qualifications

Your role

As People and Culture Country Partner in Germany, you support the people agenda of the different departments in Germany, work with peers in other countries on the annual HR Wheel and global projects and contribute & execute the People and Culture strategy of BA Wind. Furthermore, you will support the international organization with German-specific HR topics.

In this position you will report to the People and Culture Country Partner Manager in BA Wind. You will be part of a team of People and Culture Country Partners, based in Sweden, Germany, The Netherlands, UK and Denmark.

You will be working in a truly international context, where your main responsibilities and tasks are the following:

  • Provide operational and ad hoc support to German and international managers and People & Culture Business Partners related to German HR topics  
  • Supports and drive global P&C projects and processes
  • Supports, optimizes and advises management, PCBP’s and local employees with local P&C policies, processes and local labor law related issues like sick leave, performance cases and conflicts  
  • Support with local negotiations with Unions etc.
  • Supports with process mapping, work instructions, offers, changes in contracts, onboarding, internal transfers, termination and exits of employees etc. 
  • Informs employees about local P&C related topics like terms and conditions and where relevant the Collective Labor Agreements. 
  • Supports the recurring P&C Annual Wheel such as Performance Management and Salary Review
  • Works collaboratively with Centers of Expertise, HR Service and other HR Business Partners across the HR function to provide HR solutions to the business. Support and ensure the implementation of new ways of working on all levels
  • Collect, process and analyze data for report creation

Your profile / who are you? 

As a person you show proactive initiative and you can both challenge and support the organization. You are not afraid to initiate and implement change and you have a positive, resilient can-do mentality. You combine this with an analytical and structured approach and are capable of working on many things at the same time.

You have a proactive, collaborative, positive solution-oriented mindset and think in opportunities rather than in problems. Furthermore, you thrive in complex environments and quickly get your head around complex topics.

You can handle data and have a good analytical sense. You consider HR as an integrated part of the business and invest in your understanding of the business.

Next to this you bring: 

  • 5+ years with previous HR generalist experience
  • An educational background in HR, business administration, or business psychology at a bachelor's degree level or equivalent is preferred
  • Knowledge on German employment law and regulations, and experience applying it within a business context
  • Experience on supporting Union negotiations and/or collaboration with Workers Council
  • High ethical standards, maintaining confidentiality, integrity, trustworthiness, and ethical conduct to build credibility and foster a positive work environment
  • Experience in wind or the renewable industry is preferred, or support to equivalent technical organization
  • Relevant experience working in an international matrix setting
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.)
  • Practical knowledge of HR systems (SAP)
  • Fluent in English and German
