Are you ready to shape the digital future of Real Estate & Facility Management at Vattenfall? As our Business IT Demand Architect, you will play a key role in driving innovation and ensuring that technology investments deliver real value.

In this role, you will shape business architecture roadmaps, optimize our application portfolio, and drive digitalization initiatives that enhance operational excellence and advance Vattenfall’s sustainability ambitions. While your primary focus will be on the Nordic Real Estate & Facility Management organization, you will work closely with business leaders and IT experts across multiple regions—directly contributing to decisions that impact thousands of colleagues. You will collaborate closely with two colleagues from the Business IT team and report to the Director of Cross‑regional Real Estate & Facility Management.

Key responsibilities

  • Shape and implement business architecture roadmaps that align with strategic goals.
  • Drive application portfolio optimization and promote the adoption of group-wide platforms.
  • Act as a trusted advisor and serve as project sponsor to ensure successful delivery of initiatives.
  • Support real estate projects by providing expert technology guidance.
  • Conduct IT architecture and security reviews as part of solution evaluations.
  • Define digital requirements and translate them into clear, actionable solution proposals.
  • Work according to group-wide standards and project management methodology.
  • Build strong, collaborative relationships with stakeholders to foster innovation and effective delivery.

Qualifications

Candidate Profile

You are passionate about bridging business and technology, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and excel at influencing stakeholders through expertise and collaboration. You combine strategic thinking with a hands-on approach and enjoy turning complex challenges into clear, actionable solutions.

Qualifications

  • Relevant academic degree (e.g. information technology/management, business administration, or a related field).
  • 8+ years of relevant experience with IT demand management, IT consulting, IT business process improvement—preferably in a corporate or international setting.
  • Proven ability to manage complex projects and engage diverse stakeholders.
  • A collaborative mindset with the ability to build alignment across regions and functions.
  • Excellent communication skills in English and Swedish.
  • Proficient with Microsoft 365 tools.
