The Project Delivery & Engineering organization plays a key role in driving a fossil-free future. We execute complex global infrastructure projects in a dynamic environment while ensuring safety, quality, transparency, and cost efficiency. 

Within our OT Project Engineering function, we design, deliver, and integrate OT infrastructure and solutions that enable reliable renewable energy production and safe operations. As the central provider of OT capabilities within the Business Area Wind, we cover the full value chain, from early project phases to construction and operations of onshore, offshore and solar parks. 

Our focus lies on Operational Technology (OT), working closely with IT while ensuring clear ownership of control systems, site integration, and lifecycle performance. Cybersecurity and compliance are fundamental elements across all deliveries. 

We are now looking for a Head of OT Project Engineering to lead our OT Project Managers and Project Engineers to and drive excellence in project execution.

As Head of OT Project Engineering, you will lead a team of OT Project Managers & Project Engineers and establish a high-performing delivery organization responsible for OT project execution across the full lifecycle. 

Your focus will be on delivering value through structured project execution, strong stakeholder alignment, and consistent prioritization across the OT portfolio. 

In this role, you will: 

  • Drive reliable project execution aligned with agreed timelines, budgets, and quality standards 
  • Standardize and continuously improve project management practices & templates across projects 
  • Participate in Project Steering Committee meetings and be a member of the department Management Team 
  • Supports department business planning and provides project management and engineering resources to projects. 
  • Staffing responsibility, planning, hiring, development, performance. 
  • Ensures competence development of team members. 
  • Foster a collaborative, accountable, and inclusive team culture 
  • Strengthen partnerships across Engineering, IT, Construction, and Operations 

You will balance project management with hands-on leadership of project delivery, ensuring that OT solutions provide real business value throughout their lifecycle. 

We are looking for a leader who combines strong project management expertise in OT environments with a collaborative and people-focused leadership style. 


Qualifications

  • ​​​​​Proven experience leading project managers in OT, infrastructure, or industrial environments 
  • Strong experience managing complex project portfolios and stakeholder landscapes 
  • Ability to balance delivery focus with strategic prioritization and value creation 
  • Experience working in renewable energy, utilities, or critical infrastructure (preferred) 
  • A collaborative mindset with strong communication and relationship-building skills 
  • M.Sc. or equivalent 
  • Minimum 7 years of relevant experience, including leadership responsibility 
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken)
