For our Vattenfall Risk Management Department we are looking for you as Trade Control Analyst for our office in Hamburg. 

Your key responsibilities:

  • Trade validation: ensure trades have been correctly booked in the trading system (ETRM system)
  • Confirmation management: exchange and oversee the confirmations process with our counterparties
  • Margining: run daily collateral management processes to manage credit exposure
  • Exchange reconciliation: reconcile our positions against exchanges and clearing banks
  • Emission certificate management: certificate transfers and confirmation management
  • Regulatory reporting: responsible for transaction reporting under REMIT and EMIR legislations as well run risk mitigation procedures
  • Projects: be part of implementing new products and workflows together with other departments (front-office, middle-office, risk, etc.)

Qualifications

Your profile

  • Background or diploma in Finance/Control/Business Admin/Economics or similar
  • Good communication and analytical skills; team player
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office software
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken)

The Trade Control Team Hamburg is part of SF Risk and is the back-office function for Vattenfall Energy Trading GmbH. It supports and controls the day-to-day business of the traders, portfolio managers and originators. The trade control team has focus on: 1) OTC (over the counter, trading transactions that are conducted bilaterally between business customers), 2) Exchange transactions and 3) Regulatory reporting (EMIR, REMIT).
