As a Student Worker – Onshore Controlling, you will help create the financial transparency that enables better decisions across our renewable energy business. You will gain hands-on experience with reporting, project controlling and financial planning while working alongside experienced colleagues who help drive the energy transition every day.

Business Area Wind
We develop, build and operate our wind farms – both onshore and offshore – to accelerate the growth of renewable energy. By combining international expertise with innovation, we deliver world-class projects that contribute to a more sustainable energy system.

Within Business Unit Onshore, the Controlling team provides financial insights, planning and performance transparency to support development, construction and operations across several European markets. As a Student Worker, you will become part of a collaborative international team where your work contributes directly to informed business decisions.

Your role
What does it take to bring renewable energy projects from idea to reality? Behind every successful project is a strong financial foundation. That's where you come in.

As a Student Worker within Onshore Controlling, you will support reporting, planning and controlling activities that help our business stay on track and make better decisions. You'll work closely with colleagues across different countries and functions, gaining valuable insight into how finance supports the energy transition.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the preparation and maintenance of FTE and FTC workforce reporting.
  • Following up on data inputs and helping ensure reporting quality and consistency.
  • Assisting with the calculation, allocation and analysis of measurement costs within the Wind Resource department.
  • Supporting reconciliations and helping identify deviations or inconsistencies in financial data.
  • Preparing and validating information for investment plan uploads.
  • Maintaining and updating WBS reporting to support project controlling activities.
  • Supporting recurring invoicing processes and related financial administration.
  • Contributing to presentations, reporting improvements and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Assisting with ad hoc analyses and financial deep dives when needed.

Location  
Kolding (Denmark), occasional travel will be required


Qualifications

Your profile
You enjoy working with data, are eager to learn and like understanding how financial information supports business decisions. You bring a careful and structured approach to your work and enjoy collaborating with colleagues from diverse backgrounds.

We would like you to have:

  • Ongoing Bachelor's or Master's studies in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Controlling, Data Analytics or a related field.
  • Interest in financial reporting, controlling and performance management.
  • Good Excel skills and confidence working with structured datasets.
  • Strong communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
  • A curious mindset and willingness to learn new tools, processes and ways of working.
  • The ability to organise recurring tasks and follow up on deadlines.
  • Experience with Power BI, SAP or reporting tools is considered an advantage, but is not required.
