Our Business Area (BA) Markets is looking for the right person to fill the position as

Structuring Analyst

for our offices in Hamburg or Stockholm

As a Structuring Analyst you will develop valuation models and support with analytical expertise for pricing deals and assets. You will be a part of the PPA pricing team where we combine the latest market developments with long term fundamental outlook to provide front office with competitive prices to support the marketability of renewable assets such as wind and solar parks.

We offer an exciting and challenging job where you work close to the business as well as with state-of-the-art modelling infrastructure. The position offers a mix of analytical and IT tasks and close cooperation with the front office, which provides a solid commercial understanding and context to our operating markets. 
 

Your key responsibilities:

• Models: Build and improve our pricing model for PPAs in Python making sure all pricing components such as imbalance cost and value factors are up to date and capture constant market changes
• Analysis: Combine business understanding with analytical and technical skills to tackle and ultimately solve upcoming problems
• Pricing: Provide pricings for PPA deals and support our stakeholders on how to structure a deal and make it attractive to our potential customers
• Data & Infrastructure: Ensure our data and infrastructure maintains high quality by e.g. setting up data pipe lines, follow and improve coding guidelines of the team or make sure our Streamlit-based  pricing app is up and running

• Strong interest in learning about the energy markets and have a commercial mindset
• Academic degree of relevant mathematical discipline, such as engineering, mathematics, physics, software engineering or similar
• Good Python skills are a must, experience with tools like Pandas, Git and Azure is a plus
• Able to work with sophisticated mathematical models or are comfortable learning to do so
• Strong communication skills and the willingness to interact with colleagues, stakeholders and other data-driven departments
• Fluent in English. Swedish or German is an advantage
