Do you see yourself playing a key role in guiding transformative projects for a fossil free tomorrow? As a Senior Business Project Manager within Vattenfall, you will help steer our transition away from fossil fuels and contribute to impactful change. If solving complex problems alongside talented colleagues excites you, join our team “Agile and Project Management” at Business Area Customers and Solutions! We are an international team with Project Managers and Agile Coaches in The Netherlands, Germany and Sweden and we are looking for two new colleagues in Sweden.

As Senior Business Project Manager you will help the business to be successful,  create value and achieve the project goals in a result-driven and an efficient way. By guiding multi-disciplinary teams through complex challenges, you ensure plans are executed effectively and all stakeholders remain engaged along the way. Among your responsibilities, are overseeing project schedules and finances, managing risks proactively and helping colleagues grow by sharing practical knowledge about project delivery methods.

Being successful in your position as Senior Business Project Manager, you will deliver results on schedule and within agreed resources while continually looking for ways to refine our processes and share new insights. As  Senior Business Project Manager you act as an ambassador for the common Project Governance Model and Project Management Methodologies.
 


Qualifications

You are a senior project manager with a strong track record of successfully leading and delivering complex initiatives. Your academic background includes a bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant field, giving you the analytical skills needed to plan, execute and drive results. With at least five years’ experience managing projects and programs, including IT development and business transformation in sales or energy environments, you are confident translating business needs into actionable plans and execute these.

  • Proven ability to manage multiple parallel projects using modern project management tools
  • Commercial awareness and the capacity to balance strategic objectives with practical solutions
  • Confidence in your expertise and the ability to work independent and manage yourself, but at the same time be a team player,  open and a willing to learn and develop
  • Strong stakeholder management skills at senior levels, enabling effective communication and decision-making across diverse groups
  • Fluency in Swedish and English, both written and verbal
