At Vattenfall Finance Business Support, we are on an exciting transformation journey – and we are now looking for a motivated and inspiring Purchase to Pay (P2P) Specialist to join our International  Team.

The Purchase to Pay Team  are an engaged, solution‑oriented team that works closely together, learns every day, and continuously improves how we deliver value across the business.

Our core responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring secure and timely payments for supplier invoices across Vattenfall
  • Driving touchless invoice handling through automation and smart processes
  • Educating and supporting stakeholders in our Purchase to Pay processes
  • Delivering reliable, high‑quality operational finance services to the entire organization

How you will contribute

  • Take ownership of operational work within complex finance topics
  • Support and resolve exceptions and deviations in Purchase to Pay processes
  • Ensure that instructions, guidelines, and communication are accurate, up to date, and easy to understand
  • Actively contribute with ideas for improvements and automation
  • Participate in projects and help drive key results forward
  • Be a positive, open, and engaged team member who contributes to a strong team culture

Qualifications

What you bring
We believe you will thrive in this role if you have:

  • A relevant university degree within Finance or a related field
  • 1-5 years of work experience within finance
  • Experience working in transactional finance processes
  • A solid understanding of the Purchase to Pay end‑to‑end process
  • Good knowledge of finance processes in SAP
  • Experience from a Shared Service organization
  • Fluent in Dutch and English, both written and spoken
  • Just as important as your experience is your mindset: you are curious, structured, collaborative, and motivated to improve how things are done

Additional Information

Our offer 
The height of your salary is based on your education and relevant work experience. The salary for this position ranges from €3.500,- to €4.250,- gross per month, excluding holiday allowance, based on 38 hours per week. In addition to your salary, we offer a comprehensive secondary benefits package, the most important components of which are:

  • Based on your annual salary: 8% holiday allowance,  4,5% end of year bonus and a profit sharing of up to 3.5% based on the results of Vattenfall Netherlands (RDR).
  • NS Business card for commuting or a travel allowance of €0.23 per km up to a maximum of 50 km one way and a home office contribution of €3,05 per day
  • 20 statutory vacation days, 5 additional days through My Budget My Choice, 2 extra non-statutory days from up to scale 9 (not eligible for overtime), 3.5 vitality days, andif you work a 40-hour week on a 38-hour contract 13 extra ADV days.
  • My Budget My Choice budget, which allows you to purchase or sell extra vacation days, buy a e-bicycle, or simply receive it as addition pay.
  • Pensionplan at ABP: 70% by employer and 30% by you
  • Collective health insurance by Zilveren Kruis Achmea.
  • 4 hours of leave to perform volunteer work through the Vattenfall Foundation
  • Education budget, because we believe it is important that you can continue to develop yourself.

At our company, hybrid working is the norm, meaning you will work at the office at least 50% of the time. Most of your colleagues prefer to work the remaining 50% of their time from home, but the choice is entirely yours.
