Vattenfall’s Operational Control Centre is a central part of our Business Unit Wind, Offshore, Generation. We monitor more than 1,500 wind turbines and provide support to all Vattenfall sites Onshore and Offshore within turbine monitoring, high-voltage control, and marine coordination – 24/7, all year round. Our goal is to ensure high availability and safe operations, enabling us to accelerate the transition to a fossil-free society together.

We are now looking for a manager for our High Voltage Control Centre.

What will you do?

As Manager, you are responsible for managing country responsible persons of the electrical installations across Vattenfall wind. Ensuring safety for people & assets, and at the same time making sure Vattenfall adhere to the country specific rules – By that being compliant.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Leading and developing a team of high voltage specialists across 4 countries, supporting continuous 24/7 operations
  • Ensuring safe, reliable, and compliant operation of high voltage installations across onshore and offshore sites
  • Ensuring that all high voltage work follows national and international standards.
  • Training and authorizing high voltage personnel in line with internal frameworks, including WESR where applicable. ( Wind Electrical Safety Rules )
  • Further developing system functionalities together with Product Managers to support safe and efficient operations
  • Driving harmonization of high voltage operations and safety practices across Vattenfall sites and countries
  • Planning, coordinating, and leading complex operational tasks in close collaboration with sites and stakeholders
  • Driving knowledge sharing and best practice to strengthen operational performance across the organization
  • Building strong collaboration between Operations & Maintenance, Control Centre, and support functions

Qualifications

Who are you?

You are a high voltage expert with leadership experience and a strong commitment to electrical safety and operational excellence.

You are comfortable working in complex, safety-critical environments and thrive in roles where quality, compliance, and reliability are essential.

To succeed in this role, you bring:

  • A master’s degree in a relevant field, or equivalent experience
  • At least 5 years of experience within high voltage operations in the energy sector or a similar technical industry
  • Strong experience with electrical operations and maintenance in HV environments
  • Solid understanding of national and international electrical safety standards, regulations, and compliance frameworks
  • Experience working in or with wind operations (onshore or offshore is an advantage)
  • Proven leadership capabilities and experience developing teams
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to collaborate across functions and geographies
  • Experience in working in an international environment.
  • Fluent Danish and English, both written and spoken
