This is a fixed-term position (13 months) to cover for an N-3 manager on parental leave.

The team you will lead

The Power & Gas Logistics Solutions team is responsible for developing, maintaining, and operating dedicated BA Markets IT applications supporting:

  • Physical power and gas deliveries across continental markets
  • Market access for power capacity and exchange trading
  • Market access for gas entry/exit capacities and related processes

We work in a fully agile setup, organized into two agile teams with dedicated Product Owners.

Your mission

In this role, you will combine people leadership, product direction, and delivery excellence within an agile environment. You will create clarity, momentum, and psychological safety for teams operating critical gas and power logistics solutions.

Key responsibilities

As the N-3 manager across both agile teams, you will:

  • Lead, coach, and develop team members and Product Owners within the Gas and Power Logistics Solutions domain
  • Foster a culture of learning, feedback, and continuous improvement
  • Set clear expectations, provide regular feedback, and recognize performance
  • Act as a strategic sparring partner to Product Owners on product vision, prioritization, and stakeholder management
  • Support the definition and evolution of product strategies, particularly in the context of modernizing our gas and power logistics IT landscape
  • Ensure alignment across products, stakeholders, and teams to enable coherent prioritization and value delivery
  • Strengthen product leadership capabilities and agile ways of working across both teams
  • Drive recruitment efforts and manage external service providers

In addition, you will:

  • Actively contribute to the ETRM management team by shaping priorities and strategy
  • Support resource and capacity planning, skill development, and cross-team dependency management
  • Drive continuous improvements in processes and agile practices
  • Foster close collaboration across Operations Units to support BA Markets’ digital transformation

Qualifications

What you bring

We are looking for a leader who connects strategy, people, and execution, and who embodies our values: Open, Active, Positive, and Safe.

  • Several years of leadership experience in energy markets and/or IT management
  • Experience working in international environments, with English as the primary working language
  • Knowledge of logistics and/or intraday IT systems and related business processes is an advantage
