Do you want to lead a key department that plays a central role in the Nordic electricity markets? As Director Commodities within Customers Nordic, you will have strategic and operational responsibility for a business that is crucial to our success. You will be part of the management team, lead approximately 50 employees and have overall responsibility for our electricity product portfolio. The role gives you the opportunity to drive innovation, digitalization and business development in a dynamic and changing market and with great scope to influence.

Job description
In the role of Head of Commodities, one of five departments within Customers Nordic, you will be a key member of our management team. You lead an organization with about 50 employees, divided into five subdivisions, all with their own managers who report to you. The majority of the team is located in Solna, but you also have employees in Helsinki and responsibility for operations in all Nordic countries. You are active in all Nordic electricity markets and report directly to VP Customers Nordic.

In your assignment, you are responsible together with your team for ensuring the physical electricity supply for our customers. You drive the development of products and services that enable customer based flexibility in the TSOs' ancillary  market. Your department has ownership of the electricity product portfolio, from product development to product management, and is responsible for ensuring that the portfolio is profitable, sustainable and competitive.


Qualifications

To succeed in the role, you will bring:

  • Relevant university degree or equivalent work experience, preferably in commodities 
  • Good knowledge of the physical and financial electricity market
  • Experience and ability to drive digital development and process improvement
  • Experience and skill in leading in continuous change
  • Very good knowledge of Swedish and English, both orally and in writing
