Starting in August, you will begin a paid programme with theory, practice and shift work that will prepare you specifically for your role as a process operator - with strong development opportunities in technology and management. Career changers with technical training are also welcome.
IT Summer Internship
During the 160 summer hours spent in our Polish office, you will have the opportunity to see how developers work on a daily basis, as well as other people responsible for operating systems and managing complex IT infrastructure. We will be accepting applications again in April 2026.

Having started as a trainee, Rosalie is now an Operations & Maintenance Modelling Engineer and supports offshore wind farms in planning and operation by optimising operating concepts with the help of simulations and cost models.
Vattenfall International Trainee Programme
The Vattenfall International Trainee Programme (VITP) is more than just a job—it's a kickstart for young talents who want to make a real impact on the energy transition. As a trainee, you’ll join a diverse group of ambitious talents from across Europe. The programme runs for 12 months, starting each September, and offers a blend of learning, collaboration, and real-world experience.
You’ll be hired into a specific role and location, but your experience will be truly international.
You’ll take part in four international Trainee Weeks filled with inspiring workshops, study visits, a hackathon, networking opportunities and you’ll complete two assignments - with at least one abroad - giving you the chance to broaden your perspective. Throughout the programme, you’ll benefit from continuous personal development coaching to support both your professional and personal growth.
