Are you excited to gain hands-on experience in offshore wind operations? We’re looking for a Working Student to support our Business Area Wind team with operational and project tasks related to offshore wind farms, including DanTysk and Sandbank. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to maintenance planning and project coordination while building practical skills in one of the most innovative industries of our time. 

As a Working Student Offshore Operations, you'll work closely with project managers and our O&M Coordinators to ensure smooth operations and effective documentation processes. 

  • Project Support: Help project managers with coordination, preparation, and follow-up tasks to ensure successful project execution. 
  • Support Maintenance Planning: Assist in creating workflow descriptions, material lists, and time schedules for offshore maintenance activities. 
  • Documentation Management: Organize, review, and update "As-Built" and project documentation in collaboration with engineers and service leads. 
  • Collaboration: Serve as an interface between internal teams (e.g., Engineering, Operations, and Project Management) to ensure clear communication and efficient workflows. 
  • ​​​​​​​Process Optimization: Contribute to improving processes for documentation discovery, tagging, and structuring, ensuring up-to-date technical information is readily accessible.

Qualifications

What you bring to the team: 

  • Enrollment: You are currently studying in a technical field like Electrical, Marine, or Mechanical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a similar discipline. 
  • Languages: You are fluent in both English and German. 
  • IT Proficiency: Strong skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), and ideally, basic knowledge of SharePoint. 
  • ​​​​​​​Detail-Oriented: You excel at structured thinking and bring consistent quality to repetitive tasks. 
  • ​​​​​​​Team Player: You communicate effectively, adapt quickly, and enjoy working in a collaborative environment. 
  • ​​​​​​​Motivation: You are eager to learn, take initiative, and approach challenges proactively. 

Additional Information

Location & Conditions 

This role is based in our Hamburg office with flexible working hours—up to 20 hours/week during semesters and full-time during breaks. A minimum 12-month contract and 40% office presence (ideally Wednesdays or Thursdays) are required. Start date: ASAP. This setup lets you gain hands-on experience in renewable energy while balancing your studies.
