As a Working Student – Finance & Vendor Management, you become part of a collaborative team where you can learn, contribute your ideas, and grow step by step. At Vattenfall, we believe “there is a way” — and together, we explore better ways of working every day.

In this role, you support our Finance and Vendor Management activities and contribute to transparent and well‑structured processes. You work closely with experienced colleagues who guide you while giving you space to develop your own ideas.

Together with the team, you will:

  • Assist in maintaining and updating financial and contract-related data
  • Support vendor management processes, including documentation and communication
  • Help ensure that license records and relevant documentation are accurate and accessible
  • Contribute to improving workflows and data quality
  • Collaborate with colleagues across teams to support smooth and efficient processes

Your contribution helps strengthen transparency and fairness in our supplier relationships and supports efficient business operations.


Qualifications

Your profile

You are curious, motivated to learn and enjoy working with others in a structured environment. You feel comfortable asking questions and sharing ideas, and you appreciate being part of a supportive team.

We believe you bring:

  • Ongoing studies in Finance, Business Administration, Economics or a related field
  • Initial experience with data, finance or administrative tasks (e.g. through internships or projects)
  • A careful and structured way of working with attention to detail (Analytical, precise & flexible)
  • Very good Excel and common digital tools
  • Optional: Knowledge of SAP, contract management tools (e.g. TRG Screen Optimize Spend)) and PowerBI would be an advantage
  • Good communication skills in English (German is a plus)
  • An interest in learning more about finance processes and vendor management

More Information 

  • Start date: As soon as possible
  • Working time: 20 hours per week, up to 37.5 hours per week (full-time) in vacation time
  • This Position is Hybrid and some Physical presence in the office will be required
  • Duration: minimum 12 months
