For our Vattenfall Business Area Wind Business Unit Offshore we are now looking for a

Working Student focusing on Process Analysis (f/m/d) in our Process Excellence team

for our office in Hamburg.

As a part  of the Process Excellence department, you will help build and implement Business Unit Offshore’s Business Process Management capabilities. We’re seeking a curious, growth-minded colleague who shares our passion for analysis and continuous process improvement. Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze both quantitative and qualitative process data to identify opportunities for improvement and clearly communicate your insights.
• Develop and implement process performance indicators, integrating them into dashboards based on defined metrics and data sources.
• Use process mining tools to analyze windfarm maintenance processes and evaluate new process mining use cases for potential deployment.
• ​​​​​​​Assess data quality and propose actionable measures to enhance it.
• ​​​​​​​Maintain and enhance Power BI dashboards with new features as needed.
• ​​​​​​​Assist in leveraging Copilot AI capabilities for advanced data analysis and process optimization.
• ​​​​​​​Support the creation and update of process management reports for the team and broader organization.
• ​​​​​​​Help develop guidelines, instructions, and other process documentation.
  Collaborate and engage with stakeholders across the organization to drive process excellence initiatives.

BA Wind is responsible for the development, construction and operation of wind power onshore and offshore as well as other non-hydro renewable activities like solar and batteries. We manage the maintenance, operation and continuous improvement of wind generation assets, safely and with the highest levels of availability and profitability. We also perform the structuring and execution of project partnerships in accordance with overall wind strategy.

Do you want to shape the future?

Your profil

• You study business, economics, engineering, IT or a comparable course of studies and are at least in your third semester of your bachelor's degree or in your master's degree
• Ideally you have some experience with Power BI or other data visualization tools (e.g. creating visualizations in R or Python)
• Preferably you have initial knowledge of Business Process Management
• You have initial knowledge and interest in implementation of digital tools and process standardization
• You have an analytical mindset, and have experience structuring and analyzing data
• You enjoy working with people and with some degree of independence
• You have an eye for details and keep an overview and structure, also when times are busy
• You are fluent in English written and spoken, knowledge in German is a plus
• You know Office365 (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Teams, SharePoint) and you are comfortable familiarizing yourself with new IT tools

Conditions

• Start date: As soon as possible
• Flexible 2-4 days/week, max. 20 hours/week with the possibility to increase to 40 hours/week during semester break
• Minimum: 12 months
