What do we do within this expertise?

Overview

Leaner and smarter

From ensuring the financial figures which underpin the business are robust to negotiating the best deals from suppliers and assessing major acquisitions, you’ll be helping a smarter and leaner Vattenfall evolve.

Expert in your field

Your ability to understand how the company works and how our markets are moving will mean you’ll be regarded as an expert in your field by colleagues across the business. Working in an international environment will offer the potential for significant opportunities to progress your career and to gain experience of different markets. Although you won’t be in a revenue-generating role, your commercial acumen will be just as crucial in ensuring long-term financial stability and sustainable growth.

Proof points

Focusing on the numbers

As a member of our finance team, you won’t just be a number-cruncher. You’ll be using the latest technology tools to make sure that the business has the information and insight it needs to plan for the future and manage risk.

So many opportunities

Your negotiation skills or legal experience could be valuable as a Procurement Manager, working on multi-million euro contracts and ensuring the best value for money so we remain competitive. You could also be part of our pan-European M&A team, working closely with external advisors to identify and assess potential acquisition opportunities to strengthen our position in key product or geographic areas.

As a journalist, your ability to engage and inspire audiences with the Vattenfall story could lead to a role as a Media Relations Manager.
